Ms. Louie is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA,CA) with over 25 years of diverse finance and leadership experience with a focus on the mining industry. Ms. Louie was the Vice President Finance and CFO of Sabina Gold and Silver Corp. until its acquisition by B2Gold Corp. in April 2023. During this time, she had oversight of financial, legal and contractual matters and was responsible for the successful execution of a complex, US$520 million, project financing package to fund the development of the Back River gold project in Nunavut.

Ms. Louie also held several senior management roles at Goldcorp Inc. from 2006 to 2016 serving as Vice-President Finance, Vice-President Reporting and Assistant Controller. Her background included roles in strategic business planning, project controls and reporting where she led the implementation of financial reporting and planning systems utilized in the management of several large-scale capital projects. From 2004 to 2006, Ms. Louie was also a Senior Tax Manager at Ernst & Young and from 1995 to 2004, she held various finance positions with Duke Energy Canada.
